The last two years were spent on intelectual work, which resulted in the 12 meters diameter Multi-Membrane Drum:


The drum is an original project by Wojtek, and by years of experience of drum and steelpan making. The project was made in cooperation with Natalia Sowka, Tomir Sowka, Art Society of Makata - sponsor, MiGOK Lochow, Andrzej Mazurek (Pryszczowa Hill), Marek Molodecki (Dabrowka), Tomek Woszek (Lubartow).

On the first, initial concert of the Multi Membrane Drum some of the most known Polish drummers have been invited and played a part in it:
Sloma Slominski, Andrzej Mazurek, Marek Molodecki, Tomir Sowka, Jonasz Slominski, Daniel Slominski, and also:
Wojtek's old friend - Swen Wigger (Germany), Percussion - David Wojtek Lewandowski (France/Poland).

The biggest drums made and in making in Poland come from the Lublin countryside around Pryszczowa Gora. If you want to know more - a Polish drumming wiki will be created soon!

Currently at the Dom Kultury Praga we are leading lessons - teaching the playing of steeldrums, beginning with a youth group. This group, after a few days of practicing, performed at the "Day of Zabkowska Street" in Warsaw, in the summer of this year. Our plan for the near future is to organize another group for both children and adults.
